Time to get excited about seeing all kinds of cute little dogs. On Monday and Tuesday, more than 2000 dogs will compete for a trophy at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. This is a must see for all dog lovers, as they dogs are just irresistibly adorable to watch. Just seeing them is cute, but watching them compete for a prize makes it even better. I also like to see the owners get so competitive. I can’t wait to watch the show. And to me, all of the dogs are winners. They all have such talent, and I give their owners credit for doing such a great job.

Contribution by Michale Greer

When my husband first signed us up for Dish TVI thought it was the biggest waste of money. I was like who in their right mind needs thousands of TV channels but boy let me tell you, I was wrong. I love my husband but I don’t trust him enough – this is the best thing that’s ever happened to our marriage! Because we watch so much TV together it’s helped us discover tons of other things we didn’t even know we have in common. For example, we both love cooking shows and Top Chefhas got to be our favorite – now we like to buy ingredients together at the store and make elaborate meals together! I love my husband and though we are pretty sedentary I think it’s cool that even after 8 years of marriage we’re still learning new things about each other. I guess love really does keep growing even as you get older and I’m okay with that – as long as I don’t find out anything about him that I DON’T like!

The important thing to remember about choosing one is that there are different dogs that are better for some than others. You have to consider how much space you have for the dog to run around, and how much time your going to have with it. If you know you won’t have much time to play and spend time with the dog, then it would be wise to get a dog that doesn’t mind spending time on its own. If you don’t have a big yard, then you shouldn’t choose a dog that requires a lot of play time. Choosing the wrong dog can be bad for not only you, but for the dog as well

With the holidays behind us, it’s a relief that we have the whole year until we need start holiday shopping once again. Although this is true, I like to use the beginning of the year to at least narrow down what I will be getting my family and friends for their birthdays. Many of my families birthdays are in the beginning of the year, so it’s especially important to think about their gifts sooner than later. I would like to think of myself as a decent gift giver. I think very carefully before I actually buy a gift. I’m not just going to buy a gift card to a store that they might like, just because it’s easy. I like my gift receivers to really think that I know that well enough to get a gift just right for them. So far I have gifts picked out for the people who have birthdays in Febrary (2 of them) and in April.

My mom is the hardest person to get a gift for, out of everyone else. She really loves to cook , so I used to get her cookbooks, but how much can someone really cook? I then thought about what her other hobbies are, and I remembered she’s recently started to garden more. She has a lot of flowers that are just planted in the ground, and are just boring. I searched online and found a maycreek 24″ copper planter, which is sure to waken up her (start up)garden.

Then there’s my cousin who recently got a new house. She’s always looking for ways for it to look more bright and welcoming, and I’m sure my gift to her will help. I’m going to give her a mohawk architect rug. With the vibrant colors, she will no longer be complaining about her dark and dingy living room.

Lastly, there’s my uncle who is a huge dog lover. He truly lives for his dogs, and he especially loved his first one;a Golden Retriever who passed away a long time ago, but he just can’t seem to stop thinking of her. He’s often comparing the dogs he has to the Golden. Once again I went online for a gift, and searched silver ornament dog loss, and I found the perfect one. He can now remember his treasured pet every time he looks at his Christmas tree. Since his birthday is a while away from December, I’m going to suggest he can even use the ornament for any household tree he has as well.

I can’t wait to see all three of their reactions!

It can be great to have a pet, especially a dog. They are always there for you, and they never talk back at you. And the of course the fact that they are so cute, and you can even dress them up to look even cuter. The truth is that all of these factors contribute to the positive side of having a dog. What many people don’t realize is how time consuming it really is to have a dog. Maybe they are at work the majority of the day, and they just don’t have the time to take the dog for walks and play with it. Then there is the financial side of having a dog. From taking it to the vet to buying food, the bucks can surly add up. The important thing to remember is that it is nice to have that snuggly dog who you can spend time with, but you need to decide if right now is really the right time to get one.

I personally think this not only makes them look cute, but it also gives them their own look. Lets be honest: all dogs of the same breed pretty much look the same. Shouldn’t your dog be able to have their own look by having their own style? Wintertime is when dressed up dogs are most popular. Owners throw on a sweater on them to keep them warm, and the styles are endless. The rest of the months are no exclusion when it comes to pooches having fashion sense. I’ve seen dogs with tank tops, skirts, and even flip flops!

Some of my fondest family memories growing up included the outdoors. I would always go camping with my parents and older brothers. I guess that I was somewhat of a tomboy then with just brothers and now I have two boys on my own and love doing that type of stuff again.I looked online to see if I could find some good places for us to go camping and when I was searching, I ran across some debt settlement information. I’m glad that I saw that because that’s something that we’ve been thinking about anyway and could really need.

I’ve never been winter camping before, but I think that it has the potential to be a whole lot of fun. Plus, I’m sure that my sons are going to try and chase all kinds of wildlife around the campsite. I’m going to have to set some ground rules about that or else they’ll try and chase some bears around! I’m sure they wouldn’t actually do that, but you never know with kids and you have to assume that they’ll do the worst.

There are a number of kennel clubs and dog shows in Calgary, Alberta Canada. If you find yourself traveling out there often then you might consider the many rentals in Calgary. Visitors to this area are looking to not just spend their vacations, but rather to spend their lives in the area. It is after all, a very friendly place to live. And it’s a dog-friendly location! There are many areas where dogs aren’t welcomed but you won’t find that issue here. For example, Kennel clubs in Calgary include the Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club, the CADF and the Alberta Kennel Club. And if you like horses, then check out the Calgary Stampede. You’ll be able to enjoy the rodeo in the evening after a delicious meal at one of the fine restaurants in the area. For example, you might enjoy the Blink Restaurant & Bar, the River Café and La Vita e Bella. It ultimately depends on the sort of cuisine that you enjoy. Luckily you’ll find everything from wine & cheese bars to basic diners. In any case, the next time you’re in Calgary be sure to check out the rentals. You might just find that you, your family and your family pet will not want to leave.

Thanks for the post from Lynn GuyGetting high speed internet service has been great for our business. Before we had the internet, we were taking and processing all of our orders by phone. Now people can just send us e-mails about the specific things that they want in their product and order. I make custom cowboy hats. I learned the trade from my grandfather and father. There were no other boys in the family, so they taught me the trade of cowboy millnery to keep the business going. Actually, I really love it. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. With e-mail and the internet, I have gotten a lot more business. I have even had to hire another other people to work in the shop and teach them the trade because the orders have gotten so large. I am really making a name for our shop and family trade. It makes me proud to be a third generation cowboy millner. Especially being a girl! Maybe I will have a girl one day and teach her the trade.

Not many people know this, but I actually used to have a phobia of dogs. I would completely freeze up around them, and I absolutely dreaded going to a home which I knew had dogs in it. However, as I got older I managed to slowly get my phobia under control at which point I begin to understand why people love dogs so much. Not only are they fun pets to have, but at the end of the day there is nothing quite like the unconditional love your dog can give you. I admit that once I received a dog of my own I spoiled him a little bit. For those of you looking to spoil your dogs you can now get FREE Shipping on orders $100 or more, just remember to use the coupon code SHIP2011.

If you don’t have a dog yet I strongly urge you to get one. They become your friends, your companions, a true member of the family in less time than you would think possible. There are many that are in need of rescuing amongst the various animal shelters in New Jersey, so if you have been on the fence about rescuing on yourself the best advice I can give you is to stop waiting, just go out and get one.

They become such an important part of your family that I’ve even started researching about emergency products for pets. I know it seems like a silly thing to worry about, but anyone who has ever owned a dog could tell you that we dog-owners care deeply about our pets. At the end of the day, how could anyone not care about this face?
