My house is my sanctuary and I’ve spent years getting it decorated and all set up exactly the way I wanted it to be. I love being at home and I don’t really feel scared to be there by myself like I did when I was still married which is a nice problem not to have. I got that securitychoice alarm after the divorce which helps and my neighbors are really great but I think what honestly makes the difference is having a dog to rely on. I know Buster would make a racket if anyone ever tried to get in and I’m awake half the time he is anyway! That’s what you get for letting your dog sleep in your bed…insomnia! I love having my own place and also that it’s got a view of the ocean. I don’t ever anticipate moving from her if I can help it and that’s why I’ve spent so much money making the place perfect for me to live in. I plan on being here for a very long time!
