Thanks for the post from Lynn GuyGetting high speed internet service has been great for our business. Before we had the internet, we were taking and processing all of our orders by phone. Now people can just send us e-mails about the specific things that they want in their product and order. I make custom cowboy hats. I learned the trade from my grandfather and father. There were no other boys in the family, so they taught me the trade of cowboy millnery to keep the business going. Actually, I really love it. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. With e-mail and the internet, I have gotten a lot more business. I have even had to hire another other people to work in the shop and teach them the trade because the orders have gotten so large. I am really making a name for our shop and family trade. It makes me proud to be a third generation cowboy millner. Especially being a girl! Maybe I will have a girl one day and teach her the trade.
